Hanson Runaway Missing For 2nd Time In Months, This Time Gone For Week

It's not the first time that police have been on the lookout for one missing 13-year-old, officials say.

Kayleigh "Kie" McCormack, of Hanson, ran away from New Bedford on Tuesday, May 16 at 5:30 p.m., according to New Bedford Police. 

McCormack was also reported missing in February, when she was last seen getting into an SUV with a man between 20 and 30 years old, according to the Hanson Police Department. 

She was found the day after she went missing in February. 

The teen has ties to Hanson, Whitman, and the surrounding towns. She is described as standing approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. She has blue eyes and brown hair with red streaks.
